Ultimately, being the recipient of Domestic Violence is emotionally degrading, physically dangerous, and is a cause of high stress in one's life.   Breaking the cycle of domestic violence can vary from case to case. For the cycle to be reoccurring, simple personal interaction of the victim with the offender is a sign that help beyond that point is a consideration.
