Treasurer's Staff

Your Van Wert County Treasurer’s office has a staff of two Deputies.  Their responsibilities include the acceptance of Real Estate Property Taxes, Manufactured Home Taxes, Personal Property Taxes, and Estate Taxes.

 In addition, they account for all monies received by any other county office from services such as Dog Tags, Immunization at the Health Department, fees from Lincoln way Home, and fees charged by various other offices.  In addition records are kept on the investments held by the Treasurer, including interest earned, and collateral from the various institutions where the money is invested.  The Van Wert County Treasurers staff’s goal is to provide a welcome environment and to assist Van Wert County Taxpayers in the most efficient and professional manner and in accord with the Ohio Revised Code.
