Treasurer's Staff

Your Van Wert County Treasurer’s office has a staff of two Deputies - Jan Mack and Julie Rolsten.  Their responsibilities include the acceptance of Real Estate Property Taxes, Manufactured Home Taxes, Personal Property Taxes, and Estate Taxes.

In addition, they account for all monies received by any other county office from services such as Dog Tags, Immunization at the Health Department and fees charged by various other offices.  In addition records are kept on the investments held by the Treasurer, including interest earned, and collateral from the various institutions where the money is invested.   

They are also responsible for all "Pre Pay" monies collected, specifically the ACH program whereby your taxes can be automatically deducted monthly from your bank account.

The Van Wert County Treasurer's staff goal is to provide a welcome environment and to assist Van Wert County Taxpayers in the most efficient and professional manner and in accord with the Ohio Revised Code.
