Bids will be opened on 3/11/2010 at
10:00 AM
Commissioners Office, 114 E. Main Street, Suite 200
NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
Sealed proposals for the "2010 Residential Demolition Project #1 (Van Wert)" will be received by the Van Wert County Commissioners at 114 East Main Street, Suite 200, Van Wert, Ohio 45891 till 10:00 a.m. March 11, 2010 and then at 10:00 a.m. at said office will be opened and read aloud.
Scope of Work, Specification and Bid Forms may be secured at the office of the Van Wert County Commissioners, 114 East Main Street, Suite 200, Van Wert, Ohio 45891. Each bid must be accompanied by either a bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid amount with it surety satisfaction to the aforesaid Wert County Commissioners or by certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit upon a solvent bank in and amount of not less than 10% of the bid amount in favor of
the aforesaid the Van Wert County Commissioners. Bid Bonds shall be shall be accompanied by Proof of Authority of the official or agent signing the bond.
Bids shall be sealed and marked as Bid for: 2010 Residential Demolition Project #1 (Van Wert) and mailed or delivered to:
Van Wert County Commissioners 114 East Main Street, Suite 200
Van Wert, Ohio 45891.
The Van Wert County Commissioners reserve the right to waive any informality to reject any or all bids. Attention of the bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in the bid packet, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions and the requirement for payment bond and performance bond for contracts of $25,000 or more. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 30 days after the actual date of the bid opening.
